Best in Show at Cloghran, the penultimate all breeds championship show on the Irish calendar, went to a delighted Emilio Castillo and Patrick Fortune with their Shetland Sheepdog, Ch & GB Ch Edglonian Blue Fortune, 3 year old ‘Ricky’ giving his owners their first BIS win; from going walkabout’ last year en route to the World Show, to successes galore on the GB show scene, where he gained his title and became Top Sheltie, and topping the breed at home too, he has had a fantastic career, culminating in Best in Show here on home ground.  It was the inimitable Josie Foley, ’senior’ judge of many years’ experience and popular secretary of Kilkenny, who handed him the winner’s rosette, and she gave Reserve BIS to the Chow Chow, Olive Taylor’s Ch, GB Ch & CIB Chivas Royal Djalo At Taylorian, 4 year old on the day, Boris celebrating his birthday in style with his fourth group of the year, following on from his BIS win at Coleraine.
