Best baby puppy in show under Maudie Burke was Gillian Gibson’s four month old Shih Tzu, Miracey Fruitylicious At Virtulvilage, with RBBPIS awarded to Cathy Loughlin’s four month old Irish Setter, Blazing Bronze Age Of Reason Among Rohanmor.

Stephanie Walsh judged the Stakes, from a large entry of puppies she chose Bob and Caroline Browne’s Akita, Modelvill Come Into My World handled by son Bobby as her winner. Runner-up was Stewart Carson’s German Shepherd Clonroot Alameah, handled by Kelly Lawless.

The committee members of Combined Canine Club always join in with plenty of Christmas spirit, dressing in gaily coloured outfits. Serving the Christmas goodies and generally helping with all the tasks that make this annual event the success it is were Sandra Whelan, Lorraine Barrett, Mary Nolan and show secretary Mary Walsh.
