Ciaran and Anne Marie Donnelly’s Dobermann Pinscher bitch, Ch & GB Ch Tuwos Hrana, topped the entry at Swords Ch Show under Best In Show judge Mike Drennan on Saturday 21st June at the IKC National Show Centre, Cloghran, Dublin. Ann Ingram handled her Toy Poodle, Ch & GB Tirkane The Big Issue, to Reserve BIS. ‘Izak’, bred by Ann and Kay Ryan and now co-owned with Marlies Morzik, Lisa Nelson, and Leane Bryant. Royal Canin sponsored the show, and was represented on the day by Mary Davidson; Swords Chairman Tom Hehir, presented the crystal and Secretary, Philip Behan (left) is also pictured.

Topping the Champion Stakes under Michael Clancy was Noel Beggs and June Wall's Rottweiler, Ch Alldenria Everready. Taking the second place was Jennifer Garry's Samoyed, Ch Blueagean Oracle Of Apollo. Mary Davidson represents sponsors, Royal Canin.

The stakes classes were judged by Michael Clancy, where his winner was Harold & Helena Quigg's Kerry Blue Terrier, Irisblu Jack Of Diamonds. In second place was Maureen & John Jnr Byrne's Tibetan Terrier, Siddhartha Quirky ‘N’ Quaint.

David McKenna's Bouvier Des Flandres, Ch Nikolaev Colorado At Davedeir was Michael Clancy's Veteran Stakes winner, with second place awarded to Waters' Tibetan Spaniel, Milbethan Mid-Nit Magic. Royal Canin’s Mary Davidson is also pictured.

Michael Clancy's Brace Stakes winners were O'Neill's brother and sister Smooth Haired Dachshunds, Thundergay Due South and Thundergay Abilene.
SWORDS '14 GROUP 1
Hungarian judge, Dr Miklos Levente, was in charge of Group 1, finding his winner in the Old English Sheepdog, Colm and Rose Hastings' Ch Lambluv’s Sultry Secret. In second place was Frances Toman's Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Ch Whitepoint Stare If You Dare. Mick Gavin are also pictured.

Visiting GB judge, Jeff Horswell adjudicated Group 2, sending forward the Dobermann, Billy and Josh Henderson and Ciaran and Ann-Marie Donnelly's Ch & GB Ch Tuwos Hrana, who later in the day went all the way to Best in Show; runner-up under Jeff was Kieran O’Connell's Bullmastiff, Ch Watercress Buffalo Bob.

Heading up the terriers in Group 3 under Austrian judge Otto Kral was Miles Leonard and Smit-Kamerbeek’s Scottish Terrier, Lucia’s Dream Saddell Castle. Group 2nd went to Morag and David Connolly’s Border Terrier, Ch Taylortay Shoeshine At Huntly.

The Dachshund group was judged by Swede, Pia Lundberg, whose winner was Michael Crowley's Smooth Haired, Elanors Surprise At Donnamarc, with Caroline Reynolds' Miniature Smooth, Ch Donnadoon Silver Dollar, taking second place.
SWORDS '14 GROUP 5
Topping Group 5 under Maria Soleckyi Szpunar from Poland was Peri Burnside's Alaskan Malamute, Ch Libertia Reggae Master. Runner-up was Maureen and Brian Carroll’s Keeshond, Ch Lyntova Legend Has It.
SWORDS '14 GROUP 6
A new face heading Group 6, English visitor Rebecca Crop handling Kay Martland's Dalmatian, Kalokaire's Lady Eleanor At Deefadal, to victory under breed specialist, Estonian judge, Jelena Kruus. Taking second place was Barry O’Neill’s Basset Hound, Ch, GB & Int Ch Knockogue Arthurs Legacy.
SWORDS '14 GROUP 7
Finnish judge Eeva Rautala’s Group 7 winner, Tom and Annie Mervyn's German Short Haired Pointer, Sh Ch & GB Sh Karlivar Dusky Rose At Tomanipoint, went on to BIS 3 later in the day, whilst her runner-up spot was awarded to Sarah Thompson with her German Long Haired Pointer, Sh Ch Arany Flax Mit Sarscottah.

Former Swords secretary Ann Gormley, now resident for many years in Greece, made a welcome return visit to the club and today judged Group 8 where her winner was Ralph Dunne's Clumber Spaniel, Richley Ruff Diamond. In second place came Kerry Brennan's Cocker Spaniel, Kerrijoy Apollo.

The eventual RBIS winning Toy Poodle, Ingram, Ryan, Morzik, Nelson & Bryant’s Ch & GB Ch Tirkane The Big Issue, handled by Ann Ingram, was the choice of Romanian judge Anca Giura to win Group 9 with second place awarded to Eamon Keenan’s Lhasa Apso, Ch & GB Ch Heneva Raising The Bets.
SWORDS '14 GROUP 10
The sighthounds of Group 10 were judged by Norwegian, Eli Klepp, awarding top honours to Lynda Matthews, handling, Don Foran and Stephen Thomas' Whippet, Ailesbury Silver Lace. Gerry and Pauline Clarke's Irish Wolfhound, Ch Roxanne Of Shantammon, took second place.
SWORDS '14 TOP JUNIOR HANDLER
Taking Top Junior Handler overall under Mark McDonnell was Danielle Ritchie-Smith who had earlier won the 13-14 years class. Swords Secretary, Philip Behan, made the trophy presentation.
