All the Baby Puppies from the breeds had their first appearance in the big ring when Best in Show judge, Cathy Delmar, ran the rule over them to chose who was to be the best. Cathy's final winner was Billy Henderson’s homebred Dobermann Pinscher dog, Tuwos Mr Bombastic, aged 5 months.

Sean Martin, Jim Treacy and Adrian O’Keeffe took turns representing generous sponsors, GAIN PET NUTRITION, partners with the Irish Kennel Club, in the group, Stakes and BIS photographs, and we thank them for their uncomplaining cooperation over a lovely, but bitterly cold weekend. They handed out vouchers for Gain Dog food, which was retrievable from the large lorry at the venue, and also those goodie bags to every exhibitor, and, thank you very much, my Aussies love those chews, to the trade and press stands
