Best In Show under judge Colette Muldoon was Tom and Annie Mervyn’s homebred German Shorthaired Pointer, Sh Ch Tomanipoint Celtic Knight, three year old ‘Rory’, was the recent Best in Show winner at the IKC Celtic Winners International.
Reserve Best in Show under Colette was another of the year’s early pacesetters, Sean Carroll and James Newman’s Papillon, Multi Ch Expana's Sea Dragon Conqueror, ‘Howard’ the Best in Show winner at the IKC St Patrick’s International show.

The terriers in Group 3 were judged by Mieke Jansen Kalshoven from the Netherlands, finding her winner in the BIS 3 winning Irish Terrier, Ger and Liam Delaney’s Ch Carliams Red Dawn, with the runner-up award taken by Ger and Laura Cox’s Spanish import Bull Terrier, GB Ch and Span Ch Canabull North Wind.

Kerrie and Katie Kelly’s Miniature Wire, Kmai I Am What I Am Jun Ch who topped the Dachshunds in Group 4 under Colm Beattie. In second place under Colm was Julie Midgley’s Miniature Smooth, Jemdach Black Onyx.

Noel Beggs was centre stage for Group 5, awarding top spot to Adrian Parke and Chris McLean’s American Akita, Melodor Sirius Black. Runner-up under Noel was Olive Taylor’s Chow, Ch Chivas Royal Djalo At Taylorian.

Marion Finney judged Group 10 where her winner was Breda Dunne's Saluki, Ch Jada-Jahimi Al Djiibaajah At Hasaniya, handled by Anthony Rock. In second place was Breda Dunne's Azawakh, Ch Swala's Shi-Senti, handled by Breda.

Portadown Secretary, Pamela Anderson, is retiring from the position she has held, and executed efficiently for many years. The club decided to make a presentation to her in thanks for all her work and this was done in the middle of the BIS ring and by the BIS judge, Colette Muldoon, with many of the judges and stewards at the show looking on.
