Topping the Champion Stakes at Portadown under Oliver Noonan was Susan White's Maltese, Ch Benatone Gold Jackpot.
PORTADOWN '14 PUPPY STAKES
Taking charge of the Stakes classes at Portadown was Oliver Noonan, whose task it was to select the POTY qualifier for next year's competition from the Puppy Stakes, his winner was Felicity Thompson's Greyhound, Isla At Barnes More Ad Honores with Louisa Casey and son Ed’s 11-month-old Dalmatian Buffrey Pop Goes The Weasel at Moyglass taking runner-up place.

Judging Group 1 was Rose Hastings whose winner was Paul, Jean and Kelly Lawless' Schipperke, Ch, GB & Int Monterrez Jingle Belle For Hantreved, handled by Kelly. Second place was Neil Allan, Robert Harlow and the Douglas family's Australian Shepherd Dog, Am Gr Ch Bayshore Stonehaven Cat Burglar.

Peter Embleton judged Group 2 where his winner was the eventual BIS 3 winning Dobermann Pinscher, Billy and Josh Henderson's Ch & GB Ch Tuwos Halestorm, with Paul Keenan and Darren Griffin's Boxer, Ch Walkend Boy At Bessbox.

Heading up the terriers in Group 3 under Serbian judge Vladimir Cairovic was Melanie Corcoran's Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Ch & GB Ch Zakstaff Whats The Story At Molru, en route to Reserve Best in Show, with the reserve group rosette going to Harold and Helena Quigg's Kerry Blue Terrier, Am Ch Irisblu Mirage.

Topping the Dachshunds in Group 4 under Spanish judge, Jose Dovel Sanchez was Caroline Reynolds' Miniature Smooth, Ch Donnadoon Silver Dollar. Taking second spot was Lesley Patton's Wire Haired, Lesandnic Lilla.

Vladimir Cairovic judged Group 7, finding his winner in Catherine Kelly's Hungarian Vizsla, Sh Ch, Lux Ch & Int Ch Risley Mark The Moment. In second place was Tania Gardner's Irish Setter, GB Sh Ch Riqitta Authentic.

Colm Hastings judged Group 8, selecting Fran McGookin's American Cocker Spaniel, Junior King Brown Flymystery, taking the runner-up position was Martin and Mary O'Donoghue's Labrador Retriever, Philipstown Ocean Wave, handled by Martin.

Norwegian judge Leif Herman Wilberg judged Group 9 where his winner was the BIS 4 winning Bichon Frise, Ashling Connolly's Ch & GB Ch Ashmair Double Act, with the runner-up spot to Caryn Coogan's Pug, Ch Kingpoint Where Them Girls Are At.
