NAVAN '13 GROUP 1
Hans Erik Pedersen from Sweden was judge elect for Group 1 where he found his winner in the Schipperke, Ch Tywnbears Black Myson, owned and bred by a delighted Joan and Brian Lyons’, and handled by Joan to the Group win. Runner up in second spot was the Shetland Sheepdog, Moira Farrell’s Karyshanty Pure Destiny of Moifara.
NAVAN '13 GROUP 2
Judge for the Group 2 show was New Zealander, Jenny Hamilton, and her choice for the big rosette went to Graham’s St Bernard, Eminence In A Tizzy, with Pat Quinn’s homebred Miniature Pinscher, Schancho Christmas Cracker, a Junior Champion, in second spot.
NAVAN '13 GROUP 5
Local judge, Monica Boardman, well known for her top winning Portsann American Cockers and Japanese Spitz, owned with her mother, Mags, was judging Group 5 for the first time and her winner was ‘Flint’, Jimmy Duggan’s top winning Siberian Husky, Ch & GB Ch Bedarra Cold Paws Warm Heart for Leorient, who was piloted to his third CC at Bournemouth just the previous week by Jimmy’s wife, Anita. Monica’s second place went to Liz Wogan’s young Keeshond, Neradmik Beach Boy avec Deminiac.
HOUND ASSOCIATION OF IRELAND '13 BEST IN SHOW
Espen Eng was in the hot seat for Best in Show at the HAI and he decided that Pamela and Ryan Hunter’s Whippet, Ch GB & Int Ch Mossbawnhill It's All Bout Me, was his top choice. Reserve Best in Show was Barry O’Neill’s record breaking Basset Hound, Ch Knockogue Arthurs Legacy; a multi group and BIS winner.

Espen Rng also judged Best Puppy in how and here his winners rosette went to cross channel visitor, Lynda Coverley’s Wire Haired Dachshund, Aventine Jamaica Inn. Res BPIS was the Pamela and Ryan Hunter’s Whippet, Mossbawnhill Crowd Appeal.
HAI '13 BEST VETERAN IN SHOW
Once again Pamela and Ryan Hunter were on the winner’s podium, this time winning Best Veteran in Show under Espen Eng with their Ch & Int Ch Collooney Mama Mia, the mother of his Best in Show winning bitch, Mossbawnhill It’s All About Me, completing a great Hound Show for this couple based in Co Down. Reserve Best Veteran was the Boyd’s Rhodesian Ridgeback, Sikulbani Myeisha.
HAI '13 GROUP 4
Group 4 was judged by Lars Hjelmtvedt who chose for his winner the Smooth haired Dachshund, Pachego In The Red, owned and bred by the Emersons, with group 2nd to Nigel and Liz Bate’s Miniature Smooth, Radclyffe Wheater for Batendach.
HAI '13 GROUP 6
Eli Marie Klepp was ring centre for Group 6, and she found nothing to lower the colours of the Basset Hound, Barry O’Neill’s Ch & GB Ch Knockogue Arthurs Legacy, with a delighted Robert Tapson handling his Dalmatian, Ch & Int Ch Loudan's Folly, to Group 2nd.
HAI '13 GROUP 10
Espen Engh had also judged Group 10, where of course his winner was also his eventual BIS winning Whippet, Pamela and Ryan Hunter’s Ch GB & Int Ch Mossbawnhill Its All About Me, while in the runner-up spot was Emer Mooney’s Deerhound, Ch Rosslyn Quartet Jun Ch, handled by Katie Kelly, and who had taken BIS at the first Hound Show of the year after the Fermoy Int Show back at the start of May.
Basset Club Show '13
Espen Engh also judged the Basset Hounds and he didn’t go past his eventual Hound Show RBIS, Barry O’Neill’s Ch, GB Ch Knockogue Arthurs Legacy, for Green Star and BOB giving the Bitch Green Star and RBOB to Debbie Irvine’s Blevwil Fire And Fury. Arthur went on to take BIS at the Basset Club Show ( for all Basset breeds) under breed specialist, Seigfried Peter, from Germany. Reserve BIS went to Carol McEwan’s Culdaws Diesle from Matunnel.

GB judge, Toni Agnew, adjudicated at the Rhodesian Ridgeback Club of Ireland breed championship show, and her dog green star and Best in Show was Lydia and Rebecca Cooper’s Ch Druimderg Fire and Ice.
