RBIS was Bill Warke’s Longhaired Dachshund Ch Glasvey Hurricane Run, handled by Gerry McFaul.

Angela Hancock was the stakes judge and her Puppy Stakes winner and Irish Pup of the Year qualifier was Ashling Connolly’s eight-month-old Bichon Frisé bitch Ashmair Double Trouble. Runner-up was June Wall and Noel Beggs’ 11-month-old French Bulldog Khalasar Hear Me Roar.

Heading the Brace Stakes again was Robby van Wensveen and Barbera Hurley’s Whippet team of Alafrique Captain Conan and Barnesmore Flashman, while Lindsay Belcher’s Italian Spinone pairing of Hastabbi Tropicana At Sosteli and Sh Ch & Int Sh Ch Netis Rock With You At Sosteli took second place.

Runner-up was Ross Delmar and Ewa Lunden’s Smooth Fox Terrier Ch/Multi Ch Residensets Stand-In and heading the Gain Petfoods/Irish Canine Press Group 3 Leaderboard.

Breed specialist Gerry Larkin judged the Dachshund Group 4, sending through Bill Warke’s Long Ch Glasvey Hurricane Run, handled by Gerry McFaul, en route to RBIS. Runner-up was Karen Weir’s Kaninchen Smooth Dutch Ch Zimerbude Yantarnaya Kapelka.

Daniella Ritchie Smith has just this year moved up to the 15 – 17 years Junior Handling Class, and today continued her winning run under Angela Hancock, and well as having success in the showring with her Whippets and Australian Silky Terrier.
