From the quality line-up of the ten group winners, Marion decided that Sharon O’Brien’s Tibetan Spaniel, Ch & GB Ch Rosanley The Adonis At Torfness, was her Best in Show winner. Reserve BIS under Marion was Sean Carroll and James Newman’s Pomeranian, Ch, GB & Int Ch Belliver The Ultimate Creation.

Best Baby Puppy in Show was judged by Des Kavanagh, choosing Emer Wright’s Japanese Shiba Inu, Steinark Ima Star. RBBPIS under Des was Clodagh Fallon’s Pug, Clodana Bellissima.

Topping the Fosse Data Ireland Champion Stakes under Tom Hehir was Janet Filskov’s Golden Retriever, Sh Ch, GB Sh, Dk Sh & Int Sh Ch Abinvale Traguardo, handled as ever by co-breeder Emma Archibald. In second place was Liz Wogan’s Keeshond, GB Ch Neradmik Uptown Girl Deminiac.

Tom Hehir judged the Puppy Stakes, his pick was Catherine and Tina Broaders’ Lakeland Terrier, Brookside Aristocrat, with in second place, Kevin and Lisa Croarkin’s French Bulldog, Kingfriend Aprika Miss Wicked Of Keosonas.
MONKSTOWN '14 VETERAN STAKES
Ryan & Pamela Hunter’s Whippet, Ch & Int Ch Collooney Mama Mia took another veteran stakes, this time under Tom Hehir at Monkstown, with in second place, Catherine and Tina Broaders’ Wire Fox Terrier, Ch Crystalwire Solo Of Brookside.
MONKSTOWN '14 BRACE STAKES
Heading up the Brace Stakes under Tom Hehir was the brother and sister duo Alaskan Malamutes, Darren and Elaine Walker’s Lueldar Midnight Runner and Lueldar Dixie Chick with second place to O’Neill’s Smooth Haired Dachshunds, Thundergay Due South and Thundergay Abilene.

Alan Matthews was in charge of Group 1, awarding top spot to Colm and Rose Hastings’ OES, Ch Lambluvs Sultry Secret. In second place came David & Morag Connolly and Judith Gregory’s Border Collie, Tonkory Gold Digger At Huntly.

Ian Wilson was ring centre for Group 2, where his winner was Paul Scanlon and Ashling Connolly’s Miniature Schnauzer, Ch Nujax Johnny Cash. Taking second spot was Jackie and Andrea Stubbs and Mossy Lenihan’s Rottweiler, Ch Cotarrin Fright Night.

Mick Gavin judged Group 3 and his winner was Melanie Corcoran’s SBT, Ch & GB Ch Zakstaff Whats The Story At Molru. Runner-up was awarded to Ross Delmar’s SFT, Ch & Int Ch Shillelagh Smooth Operator.

Mike Gavin also judged the Dachshunds of Group 4, awarding the group rosette to Frances and Gerry Larkin’s Standard Long Haired, Darsoms Zshona. Second place went to Emma North-Row handling her Standard Wire, GB Ch Barmaud Rufus.

Group 5 was judged by Ann Cuthbert, whose winner was, Sean Carroll and James Newman’s Pomeranian, Ch, GB & Int Ch Belliver The Ultimate Creation. Second place under Ann was Peri Burnside’s Alaskan Malamute, Ch Libertia Reggae Master, handled as by son Adam.

Aidan McKiernan’s choice to head up Group 7 was Catherine Kelly’s Hungarian Vizsla, Ch Risley Simply Irresistible, handled by Lauren Whan, Second place under Aidan went to Sharon Kelly’s Gordon Setter, Sh Ch Minervy Angus McDuff.

Topping Group 8 under Brian O’Hara was Margaret Litherland’s Labrador Retriever, Sh Ch Oakhouse Onky Tonk, handled by Kathleen Hussein. In second place, Brian chose Liam and Brian Moran’s Golden Retriever, Sh Ch Woodmore Ringo Starr.
