Champion Stakes was judged by Noreen Harris, her winner was Jane Curtis’ Skye Terrier, GB Ch Brakemill Barnum. Triona Ni She’s Dobermann, Multi Ch Ruholfia Bardot, was awarded the second place rosette.

LIMERICK '14 PUPPY STAKES
Noreen Harris judged the Puppy Stakes, her winner was David & Kathy McLoughlin’s Pointer, Hi Point Nulli Secunda. In the runner-up spot was Malone’s Labrador Retriever, Ardcrea Sweetest Candy Floss.

Topping the Veteran Stakes under Noreen Harris was Fiona Buchanan and Mike MacLaren’s Grand Basset Griffon Vendeen, Ch & GB Ch Tarmachan Arc En Ciel.

LIMERICK '14 BRACE STAKES
Noreen Harris judged the Brace Stakes, her winner was Semjonova’s Giant Schnauzers, Ch Generous Earl Fortune Tauro Gildija and Gloris Lolly Pop.

LIMERICK '14 TEAM STAKES
Noreen Harris' Team Stakes winners were Ceri McEwan’s PBGVs team Culdaw’s Diesle From Marunel, GB Ch Maudaxi Tycoon Ginger From Marunnel and Maudaxi Coco Chewnel From Marunnel, with Pete Bale’s Welsh Corgi team taking second place.

LIMERICK '14 GROUP 1
Frances Toman of the Manto Pembroke Corgis was ring centre for group 1 and her winner was the Border Collie, David and Morag Connolly and Judith Gregory’s Tonkory Gold Digger at Huntly, whom she was delighted to see go on to take BIS. Runner-up was Finbar and Deidre Fowler’s Bearded Collie Original Of The Species Higgings at Carlindale.

LIMERICK '14 GROUP 2
Joy O’Connor, well known Irish International judge, was in charge of group 2 and she gave her winner’s rosette to Andrea Stubbs and Mossy Lenihan’s Rottweiler Ch Cotarinn Fright Night, handled by Jackie Stubbs. Brenda Groves handled her and Steve Hare’s Boxer Ch/GB Ch Jimbren Blue Horizon to second place.

LIMERICK '14 GROUP 3
German judge Walter Jungblut judged group 3 and chose Carmel Clarke-O’Neill’s Kerry Blue Terrier Ch Lemracdream The Navigator for his winner, a first group placing here for this visiting dog from Liverpool. Second place went to Kieran O’Connell’s American Staffordshire Terrier Cool Runner Lad, handled by wife Ellen.

LIMERICK '14 GROUP 4
Peter Berchtold from Austria made the decisions in group 4, the Dachshund group, and Gerry McFaul’s top winning Longhaired Ch/GB Ch Dachville Special Blend topped the group; with seven groups this year, ‘Jill’ is again top of the ICP/Royal Canin group 4 Leaderboard. Runner-up was Peter and Caroline Wheatland’s Kaninchen Smooth Ch Multi Ch Sunlux Angel Heartbreaker at Pinedax.

LIMERICK '14 GROUP 5
Amanda Sammon was judge for group 5 and she awarded the group to the Pharaoh Hound, Serena Parker, Graham Stevens, Charlotte Norridge, Dominic Carota and Stephen Sipperly’s Serenaker Sirocco. Second was the Japanese Shiba Inu, Stephen Minogue’s Jiltrain Jackpot, ‘Jack’ just a baby on his first outing.

LIMERICK '14 GROUP 6
All-breeds judge Stanley Shen from Singapore judged group 6 where his winner was Barry O’Neill’s Basset Hound Ch/GB/Int Ch Knockogue Arthurs Legacy, repeating his group win at Killarney. G2 went to Serena Parker and Graham Stevens’ Beagle GB Ch Serenaker Devil In Disguise.

LIMERICK '14 GROUP 7
Finnish judge Soile Bister was centre ring for group 7, making breed history by choosing as her winner Sarah Thompson’s German Longhaired Pointer Sh Ch Arany Flax mit Sarscottah, a first such win for the breed. Stephen Kennedy’s Weimaraner Zilverein Straight No Chazer, ‘Logan’ was in second place.

LIMERICK '14 GROUP 8
Centre ring for group 8 was Rudy Feyaerts from Belgium, awarding the winner’s rosette to Jeanette Filskov’s Golden Retriever Sh Ch/GB Sh Ch/Dan/Int Ch Abinvale Traguardo, handled by breeder Emma Archibald en route to BIS4. Second was Jane and Steve Eyeington’s English Springer Spaniel GB Sh Ch Meadowvale Chaos.

LIMERICK '14 GROUP 9
Topping group 9 under Stanley Shen was Ashling Connolly’s Bichon Frisé Ch/GB Ch Ashmair Double Act, ‘Beau’ finishing the day as BIS3, with the runner-up rosette awarded to Karen Murphy’s Japanese Chin Ch/Int Ch Nisyros Juschin Timberlake at Ouzlewell.

LIMERICK '14 GROUP 10
Joy O’Connor also judged group 10, sending forward the eventual RBIS winning Irish Wolfhound, Willie and Joanne Mullen’s Ch Broughadowey Tir Eoghain, with second place awarded to Lynda and Colin Matthews, Don Foran and Stephen Thomas’ Whippet Ch Ailesbury Silver Lace.
