Winning Best in Show at ILKA 2015 under Pia was Andrea Stubbs and Mossy Lenihan’s Rottweiler, Ch Cotarrin Fright Night, bred by Andrea and husband Jackie, who handled him to BIS; this was ‘Tyson’s’ first such award after RBIS wins last year at both Killarney and Limerick, adding to his 2 CCs across the water. Reserve BIS at ILKA under Pia was Orlagh Murray’s homebred Golden Retriever, Sh Ch Rathcloon Peaches N Cream, 4 year old ‘Tori’ the Fermoy International winner, and this award today taking her up to third place on the GAIN PETFOODS/Irish Canine Press/Dog World Group 8 Winners Leaderboard.

Mary Downward’s 10 years old English Springer Spaniel, GB Sh Ch Reubens Silent Reflection, the Munster Canine winner, again took the Veteran Stakes, this time at ILKA under Lyn Appleby whose second place went to the Cogill family’s 11 year old Afghan Hound, Birkhall Annabel.

Mary Mulvaney’s Group 6 winner was Barry O’Neill’s Basset Hound, Ch, GB & Int Ch Knockogue Arthurs Legacy, ‘Arthur’ today taking his 10th group win of the year, with second place awarded to the Rhodesian Ridgeback, Eddie & Gail Patterson’s Ch Rocksham Kimweri, his sixth group placing this year.
