Topping the Champion Stakes under Martin O'Donoghue was the eventual RBIS winner, Sinead Taggart's Hungarian Vizsla, Sh Ch Bitcon Card Tricks For Cooley. In second place under Martin was Sharon Kelly's group winning Gordon Setter, Sh Ch & Int Sh Ch Minervys Angus McDuff.

Martin O'Donoghue judged the Puppy Stakes, his first task was to select the Hibernian POTY qualifier from all the hopefuls entered in the Puppy Stakes, the honour falling to Sally Burns, Mary Coghlan and Lesley Howard's Toy Poodle, Grayco Vivacious Valentine. In second spot was Edel O'Meara's Miniature Smooth Haired Dachshund, Ispini Beag Gleoite.
