Judging group 1 was Alec McKinlay from Zambia, and his winner was Jonathan Doody’s Australian Shepherd Dog, Amberslade Aurora Jun Ch, with the German Shepherd, Bronwen Stewart & George Flanagan’s Kashbeara Balto Jun Ch, 2nd.

Group 2 winner under Pam Douglas from New Zealand was Barri & Maud Orr’s homebred Rottweiler, Tikaram Rolling Stone, with Sally and Howard Tonk’s Pyrenean Mountain Dog, Ch & Int Ch Shanlimore Maverick, handled by Dione Fitzsimons, taking 2nd place.

Elly Weijenborg-Weggemans from the Netherlands; gave Group 3 to Ann Taylor’s Border Terrier, Ch Taylortay Howgate Wonder Jun Ch, while Group 2nd went to Gary and Susan Johnson’s, Irish Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier, Swed Ch Seamrog Cactus Lime at Garsayno.

The Dachshunds of Group 4 were also judged by Elly Weijenborg-Weggemans and her winner here was Mary and Joe Allan and Mary Dick’s Miniature Wire Haired, Ch & Gib Ch Alpheratz Francesco Jun Ch with the runner up spot to Stella Moore’s Miniature Long, Larkhund Rising Star at Rickanndach.

FERMOY INTERNATIONAL '12 GROUP 5
The eventual BIS winning Pomeranian, Mesdames Komyakova & Peeyachaiprapha’s Multi Ch Fon’s Flying To Dan-Star-Kom, won Group 5 under Katarzyna Fiszdon from Poland, who gave 2nd place to Kate Harbinson’s Pharaoh Hound, Ch Enigma Quite A Showgirl for Actolia, handled by Michael Western.

Diogo Ramalho from Portugal judged group 6 and found his winner in the Cozens’ PBGV, Nykarth Knowitall at Ballyadeen, with the second spot to Irene Walsh’s Beagle, Timamso Eloise, first top group honours for both these dogs.

Winning Group 7 under Henric Fryckstrand from Sweden, was Cathy Loughlin’s Irish Setter, Thendara Jefferson Among Rohanmor Jun Ch with 2nd in the group to Maura and Seamus Gettings’ German Wire Haired Pointer, Sh Ch & Int Sh Ch Kimmax Krystal Klear of Beechillawn.

Erwin Deutscher from Austria judged Group 8 where his winner was Colm Beattie, wife Rita, Jason Lyn and Andy Yau’s American Cocker Spaniel, Ch & GB Sh Ch Afterglow Carlsberg, whilst Brian and Liam Moran’s Flat Coated Retriever, Sh Ch Almanza Something Excellent Jun Ch, handled by Brian, was 2nd.

Ricki Gouws, from South Africa judged Group 9, and her winner was the eventual reserve BIS winning Bichon Frise, Ashling Connolly’s Ch Ashmair Double Act, and taking the runner-up spot, James Newman’s big winning Papillon, Ch GB Ger Slov Mont Int Ch Denemore Iconsruben.
