Reserve Best in Show under Angela was the Smooth Fox Terrier, Ross Delmar and EwaLunden’s Smooth Fox Terrier, Multi Ch Residentsets Stand In, bringing to an end a most successful year for Ross and ‘Stanley’ who finished the year as the IKC Dog of the Year 2016 and the overall Top Dog on the Gain Petfoods/Irish Canine Press/Dog World Leaderboard by virtue of 4 Best in Show wins.

Topping the final Veteran Stakes of the year under Tony Moran was Sue and Ralph Holmes’ Siberian Husky, Ch Suraliam Purple Rain, just turned 8 years of age and making her debut in the veteran classes, with the runner-up spot taken by Carla Bollard O’Callaghan’s Afghan Hound, Ch, GB & Int Ch Ashahni Amir, 8 year old ‘Caleb’, cementing his top spot and the overall winner of the Irish Canine Press/Royal Canin Veteran Leaderboard trophy for 2016.
