DUBLIN '15 BEST IN SHOW
Sean Martin’s homebred Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Ch Glencross De Ja Vu made recent history for the breed when he took Best In Show. Judging BIS was Ireland’s own Marie Hamill, well known both at home and on the international show circuit. ‘DJ’ is the first of his breed to take an all-breeds BIS for quite a few years. He has one CC with BOB, and is the only Cavalier to have taken group honours and placings in 2014. He also won the champion stakes at Deise in June, so he is a great ambassador for the breed. He is following in the footsteps of his grandsire Ch Glencross Run For Gold who took BIS at Tralee 2000.
