Jerry Daly’s choice for Best Baby Puppy in Show, chosen from all the Best Baby Puppy in Breed winners was Emilio Castillo and Patrick Fortune’s Shetland Sheepdog, Navarrem Fortuna Girl, in second place was Craig Bannon and Niamh Carrol’s American Akita, Cannonbar Purple Reign.

Best Puppy in Show and qualifying for the Combined Canine/Royal Canin POTY 2017 Final next Easter, under visiting American judge Dot Collier, was Lauren and Diane Whan’s Leonberger, Sulandi A Dream Come True, runner-up was Brian and Joan Lyons’ American Akita, Kitsune Kaiser Chief At Twynbears.

Best Veteran in Show under Tom Bradley, this year’s BIS judge at Westminster, was the Whippet, Pamela and Ryan Hunter’s Ch, GB & Int Ch. Mossbawnhill It's All Bout Me, RBVIS was Trevor Rodgers’ Japanese Shiba Inu, Ch & GB Ch Jiltrain Jack The Lad, handled by Janine Dooner.

COMBINED INTERNATIONAL '17 CHAMPION STAKES
The Stakes classes at Combined International were judged by Johnny Muldoon whose Champion Stakes winner was Scarlett and Mark Burnsides’s Alaskan Malamute, Ch, Lux & Int Ch Libertia Reggae Master, with in second place Susan White and Sarah Jackson’s Maltese, Ch, Dutch & Int Ch Benatone Rings Of Gold.

COMBINED INTERNATIONAL '17 BRACE STAKES
Johnny Muldoon’s Brace stakes winner was Van Rattingen-Schenkhuizen’s Japanese Shiba Inu pairing of Multi Ch Fujizakura Av Enerhaugen and Multi Ch Mara-Shimas Suhai, handled by Naomi Van Mourik. In second place was Linda Dunn’s Saluki team of Ulmarra Figjam and Ch Ulmarra Cristal.

American, Dorothy Collier, judged Group 1 where her winner was David and Morag Connolly’s Border Collie, Ch Naroff Blurred Lines at Huntly, in second place was Cathrina Dunne's Shetland Sheepdog, Yagodka at Longrange S Egerskoy Slobody.

COMBINED INTERNATIONAL '17 GROUP 2
Tino Pehar from Croatia was in charge for Group 2 where his winner was the Black Miniature Schnauzer, Russian Ch Dreamkiss Brand, with Ann Moore’s Dobermann Pinscher, Ch Rozenyas Playin With Fire, in second place.

COMBINED INTERNATIONAL '17 GROUP 3
The Group 3 winner under Finnish judge Anita Paloheimo was Ross Delmar and Ewa Lunden’s Smooth Fox Terrier, Multi Ch Residentsets Stand-In, going on later in the day to BIS 3. Philip and Ed O’Brien and Jarka Poulova’s Kerry Blue Terrier, Ch & Cz Ch Edbrios Exotica, was in second place.

Topping the Dachshunds in Group 4 under Italian judge, Anna Albrigo, was Gerry McFaul’s Standard Long, Ch Sharadoba’s Fashion Flow At Dachville; runner-up was Caroline Reynolds’ Miniature Smooth, Cwmdarhian Makbe Diva.

COMBINED INTERNATIONAL '17 GROUP 5
Finnish judge Kari Jarvinen’s Group 5 winner was Scarlett and Mark Burnside’s Alaskan Malamute, Ch, Lux & Int Ch Libertia Reggae Master, with in second place Craig Bannon and Niamh Carroll’s American Akita, Ch, Am & Int Ch Hoka Hey’s The Power And The Glory.

The Basset Fauve De Bretagne, Debbie Eldridge’s GB Ch Blevwil Enchantress Over Malrich who won Group 6 under Liz Cartledge, with in second place Stuart Pearson and Caroline Dodds’ Dalmatian, Ch & GB Ch Kelevra Classic Cliché.

COMBINED INTERNATIONAL '17 GROUP 7
German Shorthaired Pointer, Tom and Annie Mervyn’s Sh Ch Tomanipoint Celtic Knight, topped Group 7 under Serbian judge Vosilav Al Dagistani, who then went on to take Reserve BIS. The runner-up went to Stuart and Heather Cummings’ Pointer, Sh Ch Kanix Kroner At Sevenhills.

Heading up Group 8 under Denis Kuzelj from Bulgaria was Ivor and Michelle Keelan’s American Cocker Spaniel, Ch Bunnybois Brainstorm At Tejas, with second place going to Kerrie and Katie Kelly’s Golden Retriever, Fairfield Florencia For Zenevieva Jun Ch.

Ekatherina Senashenko from Russia judged Group 9, sending forward the Best in Show winning Papillon, Sean Carroll and James Newman’s Multi Ch Expana’s Sea Dragon Conqueror, with the runner-up award going to Katrina Allegretti’s Standard Poodle, Funkypp Dashing Affair.

Liz Cartledge’s Group 10 winner was Gerry and Pauline Clarke’s Irish Wolfhound, Ch Lady Rose of Shantamon. In second place was Felicity Thompson’s Whippet, Ch Barnesmore Wizard King.
