The Stakes classes at Bull Breeds were judged by Chris Laverty whose Puppy Stakes winner, qualifying for the Combined Canine Club/Royal Canin POTY Final at Easter, was Philip Behan’s Chow, Russian import Art Kot Zara At Mingfield, 8 months old ‘Zara’ the runner-up at Coleraine and recently the BIS winner at the Akita Association Open show; it was another Russian import, this time Ralph Dunne’s 8 months old Jack Russell Terrier, Lovely-Orange Rock And Roll, in second place.

Heading up the Champion Stakes under Chris Laverty was Sally Burns, Mary Coghlan and Lesley Howard’s Toy Poodle, Ch Grayco Poetic Image; in second place was Liz Wogan’s Keeshond, Ch & GB Ch Neradmik Uptown Girl Deminiac.
