Best in Show at Bull Breeds 2012 was Des Manton (Scallywag), one of Ireland’s All Breeds judges, and from the top class line-up comprising the 10 group winners, Des selected James Newman and Sean Carroll’s Papillon, Ch, GB, Ger Slov & Int Ch Denemore Iconsruben, a third such success this year for ‘Ruben’, handled today by James. Reserve BIS under Des was Gerry McFaul’s Standard Long Haired Dachshund, Ch & GB Ch Dachville Special Blend.

Iris Handcock, made her group judging debut with Group 5, awarding top spot to Ralph and Sue Holmes’ homebred Siberian Husky, Suraliam Walking On Sunshine, handled by Sue, with Sean Carroll and James Newman’ top winning Pomeranian Ch, GB & Int Ch Belliver The Ultimate Creation in the runner-up spot.
