A new innovation at Bray this year was the introduction of the Breeder class, judged before Best in Show by Robert Paust, whose winner was Moira Grant Cook’s Kerronmor Pugs.

Heading up Group 2 under Otakar Vondrous from the Czech Republic was Sandra English’s St Bernard, Ch Mira Ronan Van't Hof Ten Eynder, going on to finish the day Reserve BIS; David Gaffney’s Bullmastiff, Ch Bullman Bear Nessessities took the runner-up rosette.
