Joan Walsh judged the Stakes classes, her Champion Stakes winner was the Irish Wolfhound, Ivan Gargan's Ch Ferseithean Of Skerryhill, with second place awarded to Betty Smit-Kammerbeek's Scottish Terrier, Ch Lucia's Dream Surprise Packet.

Amanda Sammon's Parson Russell Terrier, Japatin Que Sera-Sera, headed up the Junior Stakes at Bangor under Joan Walsh, with second place awarded to Campbell's Giant Schnauzer, Mount Slemish Laboheme.
BANGOR '17 PUPPY STAKES
Joan Walsh's Puppy Stakes winner, qualifying for the Combined Canine/Royal Canin Pup of the Year Final, was Joy and Brian Jones' 8 months old Giant Schnauzer, Taktika Art Graffiti By Zionzur, with second place going to the Morton, Taggart, Milicevic & Burns partnership's 10 months old Hungarian Vizsla, Karaszy's High Five, handled by Sinead Taggart.

Topping the Veteran Stakes under Joan Walsh was Ann Cuthbert and Stephen Minogue's 8 year old Borzoi, Ch & Int Ch Donskoi Asmodey, runner-up was Carla Bollard O'Callaghan's Afghan Hound, Ch, GB & Int Ch Ashahni Amir.

Joan Walsh's Brace Stakes winner was the Irish Soft Coated Wheaten pairing, Ferris' Hobel It's A Boy and Hobel My Pretty One, with second place awarded to Linda Nesbitt's Japanese Spitz, Ch Sherylbrina Latana Stacey and Sherylbrina Dazzler.

Heading up Group 2 under IKC President Sean Delmar was Jalena Semjonova's Giant Schnauzer, Ch Robmarralee Back In Black, with the runner-up spot filled by Seamus Magee and Lisa Sweeney's Bullmastiff, Ch & Int Ch Bullmeredith Captain Rowlo Of Tarbhore.

The BIS 3 winner, Roy and Marion Gregg's Airedale Terrier, Ch Bambusa Noble Dynasty, had been Harry O'Donoghue's Group 3 winner, with the second place awarded to Catherine and Tina Broaders' Lakeland Terrier, Ch Brookside Aristocrat.

Heading up Group 4 under Swedish judge Per Lundstrom was Martin McDonnell's Miniature Long Dachshund, Ch Smartdac Rising Phoenix, second place was taken by Tim, Marion and Ian Finney's Miniature Wire, Ch Dom Pérignon Vitoraz.

Moira Grant Cook's Group 5 winner was Sean Carroll and James Newman'’s Pomeranian, Ch & Phil Ch Canton King Maker, with second place awarded to Craig Bannon and Niamh Carroll's American Akita, Ch & Int Ch Cannonbar Assassins Creed.
BANGOR '17 GROUP 6
Scottish judge Mark Cocozza's Group 6 winner was the Dalmatian, Stuart Pearson and Caroline Dodds' Ch & GB Ch Kelevra Classic Cliché, who went on to Reserve BIS, with Roy and Lesley Blevins’ Basset Fauve De Bretagne, Blevwil Now Or Never, in the runner-up spot.

It was Noreen Clark who sent through the BIS winning Pointer, Stewart and Heather Cummings' Sh Ch Kanix Kroner At Sevenhills, from Group 7 and Noreen's runner-up was Dorothy Park, Jane Hough and Sharon Kelly's Gordon Setter, Sh Ch Minvery's Sainted Sinner.

Gundog specialist, Jim Gibson judged Group 8, where his winner was Martin and Mary O'’Donoghue's 14 months old Labrador Retriever, Philipstown Wicked Lady, runner-up was Liam and Brian Moran'’s Golden Retriever, Sh Ch Shinehill Summer Jazz Of Woodmore.
